Healthy school holiday boredom buster at the Ginger Factory -
June 30th and July 7th
Getting kids to eat fruit and veg can be tough, but getting the little ones into the kitchen to show them how to cook with fruit and veg and enjoy their creations can be truly uplifting!
Every school holidays The Ginger Factory hosts special kids cooking classes with the maestro of cuisine, Michelin-starred chef, Erik Van Alphen who will show kids aged eight years and over how to cook a full menu of tasty, healthy morsels the whole family will enjoy.
Vegetable spring rolls with a yummy dipping sauce; BBQ lime and mint chicken skewers with tzatziki together and strawberry and banana fruit sticks with a finger-licking chocolate sauce will be washed down with vanilla and malt smoothies, all made by the kids during this four-hour boredom busting class.
Classes are $85* per child and while children must be accompanied by a supervising adult*, there is no charge for adults not cooking or dining afterwards.
* Adults can supervise up to three children at the cooking class at no charge. Adults may also participate in the hands on class and dine for an additional $85 per person.
