Ginger in Syrup

Product Description:
Young stem ginger in a variety of shapes and sizes is cooked in cane sugar syrups. Availabe either in a percentage of syrup or drained.

Recommended Uses:
Confectionery - Enrobed, bars, truffles, after dinner treats, panned, creams, block chocolates, clusters, fudges, popcorn and soft centred hard candy

Bakery - Muffins, bagels, breads, cakes, scones, fruit mince, cheesecakes, cookies and biscuits, savoury and sweet pies, tarts and flans.

Desserts/Puddings - A popular addition to create superb flavours for dessrts including tiramisu, puddings, souffles, brulees, cheesecakes for retail and food service markets.

Jams/ Sauces - Ginger and ginger mix marmalades, jams and conserves, chutneys, pickles, savoury and sweet sauces, toppings - retail and food service markets.

Ice Cream/Yoghurt - Sole flavour (try ginger swirl), combination with fruits, nuts (macadamia/pecan), chocolate and many other flavour combinations.

Prepared Meals - Curries, stir-fry and sauces.

Simmer Sauces - Extensively used as a flavour enhancer in simmer sauces/marinades and soups

Packaging
Available in cartons, pails and drums depending upon the particular product.

Product Notes:
Ginger in Syrup - Syrup from the process is added in a variety of ginger to syrup ratios depending on customer requirements. Standard packs contain approximately 90% ginger and 10% Syrup.

Ginger in Syrup Drained - Ginger pieces only are packed. Due to the nature of the product some syrup will migrate to the bottom of containers during travel.

Standard Dice - Random Shapes & Sizes.

Select Dice - described by the number of pieces per 500 grams. These include 55/85, 70/100 & 100/140.
